Hi there!
I’ll spare you the long sentimental sob-story, about how I was ‘oh so depressed’, and found relief and meaning in your music, and just tell you straight up that you made a fan out of a hardcore metal/hardstyle-addict. Your music moves people in ways you probably wouldn’t even be able to imagine (though I know as a musician, you know how much power music can hold). Your friend posted a video of you doing a cover of ‘Who did that to you” on Reddit, and being the Quentin Tarantino fan that I am, I was compelled to hear your version of the song. He then linked to your website containing all of your songs (FOR FREE!!!!!<3) which I've been enjoying SO much. Imaging discovering an ENTIRE new world of music, with the click of a button. I honestly can't even describe it.
That link – that simple click of a button was probably the greatest thing I've done in my life (well, I'm still young, so you know..). Your music moved me ways I've yet to express, yet I try through clever writting and poetry cannot seem to espress it.
Thank you for your music, and thank you for keeping it free. I'm just a dude from Denmark, but let me know if you ever plan to touring around Europe/Denmark, and I'll do what I can do to hook you up!

All I can say is, “Are you kidding me?” I could not wait to get home and play your music for my finance. Yes, fiancé…we are getting married in November. When she heard your song all she could say is, “Oh my God”. Your music is undeniably life altering. Honestly, I don’t have any words that can justify your soul or explain the feelings your music brings to the surface of my heart and memories. “Midnight Dove” is the epitome of my pain and saving grace in one song.
My friend and I grew up together. We were there for each other when nobody else was. we understood each other without saying a word. She came from an abusive family, I came from a rough background myself. Typical street kids growing up. I was in a bad place and heading down a dark road. She remained a beautiful and caring person even after all the rotten things this world showed her. She kept something I had stolen from me…imagination. Somehow she could cry and smile at the same time imagining herself somewhere else. I was different, I was hardened and fought my way full anger. I felt caged in my own thoughts and skin.
We guarded our hearts, usually by hurting others before given the opportunity to hurt ours, innocent and guilty alike.We found ourselves in each others arms one night. Afraid our pasts would ultimately tear us apart given it was the same thing that brought us together, I was reluctant to let go of what I had with her in order to face the unknown. I wish I could explain the feeling. I watched and protected her form afar, it kept me going and gave me a sense of self worth. This went on for years and years. For me to run as far as I could and her willing to follow into uncharted waters without blinking an eye really put it into perspective for me. She always knew she wasn’t taking a chance on me and I realized she was my only chance. She was for me and I was the one for her. We were put here to face the world together and free ourselves from the shackles.
I said fuck it, either we will completely shatter each other or we will finally breathe again….. That was 3 years ago and here I am today writing on your page, engaged to the love of my life. Thank you for your music! I can never repay you for the soundtrack to our lives. If you are EVER in New Jersey please reach out! I have to experience you live with my fiance. I know its alot to ask and probably damn near impossible but if you ever shoot a video for “Midnight Love” i would be honored to be a part of it forever engraved in your song because your song is forever engraved in me!

I’m not sure what your following is like in CA, but if you ever find yourselves heading this direction, Chain Reaction in Anaheim and The Observatory (formerly The Galaxy) in Santa Ana are both great venues for up-in-comings’.
I almost literally have not stopped listening to Shadows on repeat since I found the cover of “Who did that to you.” Your music is beautiful and raw and powerful – and probably even better live. I hope to see you out here sometime soon!
